Taurasi " Delisio" DOCG is a ruby ​​red wine with orange highlights. On the nose, it offers a broad and complex bouquet, with hints of cherry, licorice, and spices, enriched with delicate balsamic notes. On the palate, it offers a full and enveloping experience, with pleasant acidity, tannins, and savory flavors that underscore its longevity. A well-structured and engagingly complex palate that culminates in a lingering finish.

PRODUCTION AREA: Montemarano (Av), Italy.
GRAPES: 100% Aglianico.
VINEYARDS: Aglianico trained using the spurred cordon system on clayey and calcareous soil with a density of approximately 3,000 plants per hectare.
HARVEST TIME: Early November, manual in crates.
VINIFICATION: Maceration for 25 days and fermentation at an uncontrolled temperature with two daily pumping overs.
REFINEMENT and MATURATION: Refinement and maturation for 24 months in barriques, subsequently in steel tanks before completing the refinement in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES: Ruby red with orange highlights. On the nose, hints of cherry, licorice, and spices , with balsamic notes. Good olfactory complexity. Rich on the palate, with evident acidity, tannins, and savory notes. Definitely a wine with long aging potential.
FOOD PAIRINGS: It goes well with roasts, game and mature cheeses.
