Ancient popular recipe
From an ancient recipe, poor, but rich in peasant tradition, Infuso di Montemarano is born. A distillate based on Aglianico but in a sweeter version than its father Il Vicario ( which you can always find on the Wine Shop Online of Vitigni Irpini ). A recipe that praises not only the wine produced in Montemarano but also its territory and obviously its crops as in the specific case of cherries. Perfect to drink in combination with desserts and possibly at extremely cold temperatures.
Characteristics : The Infuso di Montemarano, on the nose, has a pleasant note of cherry, berries, plum and almond jam. With an intense color, black with ruby reflections. On the palate it is quite sweet, initially vinous which then fades into full notes of cherry.
Temperature : - 15 C° - 20 C°
Alcohol content : 26% VOL.
