The color is an exceptional and bright golden yellow, its delicate scent of tropical fruits and flowers, with the addition of hints of hazelnuts and toasted almonds. The taste is full, soft, fresh and clean, with lively acidity and a light note of toasted nuts and bitter almonds in the aftertaste. Fiano di Avellino DOCG from the Le Masciare winery is Certified Organic by Bioagricert.
Limited production: 3,333 bottles per year.
Grapes : Fiano (100%)
PRODUCTION AREA: Lapio (Av), Italy
VINEYARDS : Fiano grapes grown using the Guyot system on clayey and silty soil at an altitude of approximately 500m above sea level in the hills around Lapio (in the Arianiello hamlet).
HARVEST : The harvest is done by hand from the first week of October during the cool hours of the day in small crates.
VINIFICATION : The grapes are crushed and destemmed and placed in a tank for 18 hours at a temperature of 7°C so that the skins remain in contact with the must. This phase is followed by racking and pressing and then the fermentation begins for 15 days at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. We only use naturally derived yeasts.
MATURATION : In stainless steel tanks until the end of the spring following the harvest, when it is bottled.

FOOD PAIRINGS: The full flavour with hints of hazelnuts goes well with
good with rich fish dishes, seafood, white meats and poultry, with different types of salads and cheeses. Also suitable as an aperitif and in combination with appetizers.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: It should be served at a temperature of approximately 8-10°C.
