Aglianico, grape variety very rich in polyphenols, it generates a bluish must, giving life to extremely concentrated wines. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine that will become Taurasi spends about 20 months in barriques and 20 hl barrels. In favorable years, the Riserva is also produced, with a more important passage in wood and a greater refinement in the bottle.
The Taurasi Riserva DOCG by Perillo is a "powerful" wine, rich in extracts and of great depth of flavour. And they require time and patience to tame the extraordinary and aggressive tannic charge. Taurasi DOCG is an important red wine with great structure.

Bottle aging : 6 years.

Perfume : On the nose it offers a broad, complex, intense bouquet with distinctive characteristics.

characterized by strong notes of plum, bitter cherry, jam
strawberries, black pepper.
