Greco di Tufo is an Italian wine that benefits from the mention Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita . It is defined as a Red disguised as White, grown in the heart of Irpinia; that is, the province of Avellino.
The Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin wine “Greco di Tufo” can be produced in the “spumante” typology with the refermentation method in the bottle (classic method) provided that it is refined for at least 36 months in the bottle starting from 1 November of the year of the harvest.
Greco di Tufo, as per the regulations, is vinified in 8 municipalities: Tufo, Altavilla Irpina, Chianche, Montefusco, Prata di Principato Ultra, Petruro Irpino, Santa Paolina and Torrioni.
According to the regulations, Greco di Tufo DOCG is released on the market 2 years after the harvest.

Vitigni Irpini and the producer will wait for you in Irpinia so that you can see "YOUR" vine up close, where the producer will tell you about it and make you experience a day with walk among the rows, visit to the cellar and tasting.

OVERNIGHT STAY and BREAKFAST
1 Night for 2 people, in comfort facilities and based on the winery you have decided to adopt, you will have the opportunity to sleep directly at the winery overwhelmed by a magical atmosphere that you can find in Irpinia. For this reason, we ask you to indicate, at least, one month before the date of your arrival in order to better organize your stay and find availability of rooms at the winery you have decided to adopt or at another facility near the winery.
We care about details, they are what make the difference. Our advice is to come in the summer or September-October to see the magic and colors of the vineyard; or to come during the grape harvest to participate in the most awaited day of the year.
TASTING
Tasting of typical products with wine pairing, for 2 people, at the winery you choose when purchasing the "Adopt a vine" package.

The plate placed on the vine, which remains until the harvest, will be delivered to you with the second shipment.
NB: the package without Overnight stay in Irpinia and without Tasting at the winery is also available. Naturally the price is lower than the complete package described above.
