Aglianico is the grape variety that, together with Fiano, represents the peasant culture of our land, Irpinia. This grape variety has always been cultivated by our ancestors to produce a wine that, left to mature in chestnut barrels for 12 months, was then sold in bulk to local merchants.

One of the most suitable areas, in the municipality of Lapio, for the cultivation of Aglianico is the Campore district, an area located at 500 meters above sea level whose soil is made up of calcareous clay marl and whose solar exposure is South, south/east.

Right in this district, as per family tradition, we have planted our Aglianico vineyards, from which we produce our Aglianico Irpinia DOC. The grapes are harvested in early November and, after pressing, the must ferments in contact with the skins for about 15 days, followed by refinement in barriques for 12 months and in the bottle for 6 months.
