What is Vitigni Irpini & Who we are

Vitigni Irpini is a project promoting tourism in the area with dedicated tours and exclusive services. Together with the winemakers, we ensure a high-quality welcome; the same quality as the excellent wines the producers create, offering unique tastings. Tours include visits to wineries, walks through the vineyards, and tastings with the winemakers. Discover the services offered in each of our "Wine Tour - Emotional Experiences" packages.
Vitigni Irpini is the first wine tourism portal in Irpinia, where you can purchase exciting wine tour experiences, choose to Adopt a Vine from participating wineries, divided into the DOCG areas ( Taurasi, Fiano di Avellino, and Greco di Tufo ), and purchase Irpinia wines through our "Wine Shop" service, with shipping throughout Italy and Europe. We also offer a "different" approach to consulting for Ho.Re.Ca. professionals, allowing you to organize tastings in Irpinia or at their locations.
The Vitigni Irpini project was born from the idea of Michele Bello and his wife Antonella Coppola. Michele, a wine enthusiast since 2007, was captivated by this fantastic world thanks to a dear friend, Vittorino. Michele, along with his "brotherly" friend, began tasting, and his curiosity was sparked. Thus began Michele's journey, as he began to discover territories, visit wineries, and taste "new" wines. Michele, as he had done with him, succeeded in instilling a passion in his wife, Antonella, and in 2013 she too began exploring the world of wine. Antonella, with passion and devotion, entered the world of travel in 2000. With her organizational skills, she ensures the best travel experience by identifying the needs and preferences of her clients. With her professionalism and her relationship with the public, she achieves important goals. Through her work, her travels, and her passion for wine, she discovers the connection between these two worlds.

Michele and Antonella, between travel, visits and wine tastings, participation in wine events, and sampling numerous dishes and recipes at refined Italian restaurants, never leave their umbilical cord: Irpinia.
We're happy to share our love for our homeland and the passion we put into our project.
The project was born in 2018, on June 26th to be precise, on the social media page "Vitigni Irpini," an innovative way to promote the Irpinia region through interviews and tastings with wineries. The Vitigni Irpini idea was immediately well received by producers, industry professionals, and wine enthusiasts. After two years of intense work and meetings with wine producers, in March 2020, in the midst of lockdown, they realized the long-held idea of "Adopt a Vine," which became a reality on December 16, 2020, with the platform www.vitigniirpini.com.
“A winner is a dreamer who never gives up”

Vitigni Irpini is constantly growing, a volcano bursting with ideas, always lovingly focused on the local area. Michele and Antonella, with their professionalism and soul, build loyalty among customers who purchase through the platform and among tourists who visit Irpinia. They believe they are the heart of the project they care deeply about.
Vitigni Irpini believes that detail and professionalism make the difference, which is why they rely on experts in every role. We take this opportunity to thank everyone who offered advice; in particular, our friends Roberto, Enrico, and Massimo, who assisted Michele and Antonella with communications during the start-up phase and whenever they could.
“Everyone can improve despite their circumstances and achieve success if they are passionate about what they do.”
Vitigni Irpini believes in connecting with and among producers, and that's precisely why the Vitigni Irpini project was born from a professional rapport based on trust, respect, dialogue, and collaboration. These initiatives and events showcase the beauty of Irpinia and the magic of its local wines. We're ready to welcome you, entertain you, and taste... HAPPINESS IS ONLY REAL WHEN SHARED!
THE STORY OF OUR LOGO
Logo comes from the Greek λόγος, meaning "word," short for logotype (typos in Greek actually means "letter"): a graphic symbol that includes letters and shapes that represent a product, a company, or an idea. Furthermore, a logo is also an emblem of the environment and era in which people live. The evolution of logo design can be traced back to ancient Greece, when rulers and their dynasties used monograms for their coins. Modern logo design, however, dates back to the Renaissance, around the 13th century. Here, goldsmiths, paper manufacturers, and many others used gold stampings, engraved symbols, watermarks on paper, and simple fingerprints on ceramics. Today, all companies use a sign, icon, symbol, or a combination of these as their logo: it is undoubtedly one of the aspects that most characterizes modern society and that of the recent past. Logo today means branding.
The "Vitigni Irpini" logo was born from Antonella's idea, inspired by her passion for art and fashion, passed down from her mother, 'Rinuccia,' an art history teacher and fashion designer.
The name "Vitigni Irpini" identifies the territory with history, culture, and tradition in the world of winemaking.
The sterilized glass and bottle listed under the name "Vitigni Irpini" signify that the quality vinified by the producers, sourced from the Irpinia vineyards, is found in the bottle and the wine will be poured into the glass with which you will savor the excellence of Irpinia wine.
The colors: Green and white are the colors of green Irpinia! The wine's burgundy color identifies it.
The shape: because the earth is round, the Irpini are part of this fantastic world and we are ready to welcome tourists from all over the world!
The phrase: "AUTHENTIC AND GENUINE IRPINIA, A FASCINATING LAND" is the phrase tourists used to greet us after staying and visiting Irpinia. This phrase made us happy, and we made it our own.
